Our Story
I'm Laura Doody, and Flora + Fun was born out of over a decade spent as a creative project manager, helping top brands build websites, shape their identities, and bring big ideas to life. Somewhere along the way, I realized the part I loved most wasn't the big campaign. It was the small, unexpected detail that made someone stop and smile.
That love of little details is what led me here. I wanted to build something that brings that same sense of surprise and delight to everyday celebrations: a flower bar guests get to build themselves, a photo they can hold in their hands, a game that gets everyone laughing together.
I call Riverdale Park, MD home, and this community has given me so much. Flora + Fun is my way of giving something back, bringing a little more joy, creativity, and connection to the events happening right here where I live.
None of this would be possible without my husband, my daughter, and our dog, who cheer me on every step of the way. Flora + Fun is built with the same care I bring to my own family's celebrations, and I can't wait to bring that same joy to yours.

01.Flora Bar Rentals
Guests choose from blooms and greenery, then build their own bouquet to take home with no floral experience required. Whether you want to rent just the Flora Bar stand and provide your own flowers, or work with us to create a customized Flora Bar with the petals of your dreams, we have the solution for you. Packages start at just $75 to rent the Flora Bar (with no flowers) or from $295 to include a fully stocked bar of flowers. Flora + Fun can't wait to work with you.
02.Party Enhancement Rentals
Keep guests entertained from cocktail hour to last call. Our instant camera stations let guests capture candid moments and walk away with a printed photo on the spot — no app, no waiting. Pair that with a curated selection of lawn games like lawn pong, giant Jenga, and more, and you've got entertainment that works for every age, all event long. We deliver and set up everything on-site, so it's ready to go before your first guest arrives.
03.Custom Signage + Decor
From welcome signs to personalized banners, our custom decor pieces add the finishing touches that make your event feel one-of-a-kind. We design and create pieces tailored to your color palette, theme, and vibe — whether that's a bold "Happy Birthday" banner, an elegant welcome sign for a wedding, or playful decor for a baby shower. Every piece is made to order, so your event gets details you won't find anywhere else.
